XL-XXL Fashion Posts Coming Soon!

I know that some of you have already heard the news, but I wanted to let you guys know here that yes, I will be doing fashion posts on my Lifestyle page! I will also be sharing these posts on my Youtube channel as well as my IG account, so please subscribe if you haven't already!

So here's the nitty gritty:

I am 5'2 and weigh 160 lbs. I am working out and trying to lose weight, not because I'm unhappy with my figure though--I love who I am! I have a heart condition as well as RA. Living healthier and losing weight will be very helpful in the longevity of my life as well as slow down the arthritisis' progression. That being said, I have had a super-freaking hard time finding cute and stylish clothes that are in my size. I want to share my finds with you guys, be it how I dress to fit my body shape as well as let you guys know what stores carry cute things in our size. Just because I'm "fluffy" doesn't mean that I should dress terrible...and I think companies are more accepting now of different body shapes and sizes instead of the typical sizes of 0-10.

Here's a preview of my normal Fall Day-time style:

I purchased the tops from a secondhand store and the capris from Delia's online website when I posted about their going out of business sale a while back. I paid around $7 for the pants--and I love them! The heels were picked up at Deb's in my local mall. I think I paid a total of $25 for the entire outfit.

What's your fave clothing item for Fall?

I appreciate every single one of you who enjoy these posts. I have been going back and forth with how to do fashion posts for over a year now and I am happy to finally be able to them!

Quality Workout/Yoga Clothing and Accessories for a Good Price?

I'm learning html, so feel free to click on the pretty pictures--it will take you directly to the product! (Yay for SCIENCE!) So I'm on the hunt for a cute workout outfit. I don't want to spend a ton of money and I'm hoping to find something basic that will get the job done. I wanted to share some of my choices you guys! These few items are found at Yoga Outlet.

I didn't see a great deal on capris or pants on the site. However a quick search at Kohl's will give you a better deal.

Now on the quest to find some shoes...this could take a while! ;)

I do yoga by myself in the comfort of my own bedroom. There are plenty of free videos on Youtube such as these Yoga for Beginners videos which are AWESOME and really worth checking out.

How do YOU yoga? Do you prefer to be in a class with others or by yourself at home? I'd love to know!

My First Post involving Lifestyle stuffs!

I have been debating on whether or not to add a lifestyle selection to my blog for at least a year. I think it would be beneficial, even if nobody actually reads or follows it. It would be a diary of sorts and I really hope that any of the information that I post would be helpful to at least someone in the world!

Today I started working out! It sounds silly, but I downloaded a few 30 Day Challenge Apps from the Google Play Store, and I found a Youtube Channel for Pilates...and this girl is amazing! You can view her channel here! She has uploaded so many short videos to fit my busy schedule, and she is actually fun and full of character! I have a few DVDs that I just COULD NOT watch because the instructors were horribly boring, and I didn't really feel compelled to continue watching them, lol. I have the attention span of a gnat, so the more fun and peppy someone is, the better chance they will catch and keep my attention!

So here's some real talk: I am 5'2 and I weigh 161 lbs. The heaviest I have been was 189 lbs. My goal weight is 135 lbs. I have RA, and my heart pumps twice as much blood in as it does out, so I do have to be careful with myself. In clothing I wear size 17 pants, and size XL and XXL in tops/skirts, etc. I would love to lose weight, but my main focus is to feel better. If I only lose 10 pounds and I feel better overall, that's cool with me. I'm not expecting to lose a ton of weight, but eating healthy and working out will be amazing for my heart and will slow down the progression of my arthritis, which would be super great!

This weekend I will be going grocery shopping for salad items (Salad is my fave food of ALL time!) and smoothies. I will try to omit most meat from my diet (except Chicken and turkey...that stuff is lean and delicious!) for a while, and I'm completely fine with this. When I lost a ton of weight...I was a vegetarian! As soon as I started eating meat, I noticed that I was bloated, and I just FELT heavy--it's so weird and hard to explain! I had more energy when I stopped eating meat, and I went from 189 lbs to 145 lbs in 7 months (with exercise as well!) and after so many years of trying many different things, falling into fad traps...I'm going to stick with what I know will work. After I gain my goal weight, I may bring some meats like chicken and turkey back into my meals once or twice a week, but honestly my body has such a hard time digesting meat!
